Fastest and Slowest Animal on Earth

Cheetah is the fastest animal on Earth which can accelerate from 0 to 96.6 km/h (60.0 mph) in under three seconds, though endurance is limited: most Cheetahs run for only 60 seconds at a time. When sprinting, cheetahs spend more time in the air than on the ground. He can reach to 112-120 Km/h or 70-75 mph. The adult cheetah weighs from 21 to 72 kg (46 to 159 lb). Its total head-and-body length is from 110 to 150 cm (43 to 59 in), while the tail can measure 60 to 84 cm (24 to 33 in) in length.

The three-toed sloth is the slowest mammal on Earth, due to its lack of muscle tissue.Three-toed sloths are about the size of a small dog or a large cat, with the head and body having a combined length of around 45 cm (18 in) and a weight of 3.5–4.5 kg (8–10 lb). It is so sedentary that algae grows on its furry coat. All sloths are built for life in the treetops. Three-toed sloths also have an advantage that few other mammals possess: They have extra neck vertebrae that allows them to turn their heads some 270 degrees.
